Aprilia RSV4 RR
The Aprilia RSV4 is a motorcycle sport road motorcycle Italian Aprilia and in production since 2009.
Presented in two versions: the R suitable for road use, and the Factory from which the bike participating in the Superbike World Championship , with a higher cost and with competition specifications.
The market segment is maximoto, thus placing itself as the flagship vehicle of the Venetian company and replacing the Aprilia RSV 1000.
The first four-stroke high-displacement sports bike of the Aprilia was the RSV 1000, this vehicle was for a long time the top model among those conceived by the Noale house, obtaining decent results in the Superbike world championship of the early 2000s.
In 2003 prototype was presented RS Cube , destined to compete in the new MotoGP, with cutting-edge technical solutions and hitherto never used on a motorcycle, but the innovations introduced were not enough to compete with the best brands, so that the bike was soon withdrawn from competitions.
For 2015 the RSV4 has enjoyed a major technical upgrade which mainly involved the engine. While maintaining the same characteristic measurements (78 mm of bore and 52.2 mm of stroke) the horses became 201 at 13,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 115 Nm at 10,500 rpm. To achieve this increase in horsepower, while leaving the engine delivery unchanged up to the maximum torque regime, new injectors, new variable-length intake ducts, new cylinder head with redesigned intake and exhaust ducts and combustion chambers were required. through numerical control mechanical processing and no longer by fusion. Redesigned the lubrication system and the exhaust system, revised the electronic management of the valve and now equipped with two lambda sensors. Starting from 2015 the nomenclature of the two versions changes, the Factory becomes RF while the R becomes RR.
