
Antonino Malaguti started Malaguti, an Italian cycle, moped, and motorcycle company, in San Lazzaro di Savena in 1930. After making bicycles until 1958, they moved into the motorcycle sector. They are renowned for using little engines in their motorbikes. Malaguti laid off its final employees in Bologna, Italy, in October 2011, when the company declared bankruptcy. In 2018, the company was purchased by the Austrian firm KSR Group GmbH.
