About the Kawasaki S ABS

The Kawasaki Vulcan S was introduced for the 2015 model year as a middleweight cruiser built around a 649 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. Unlike the traditional V-twin layout used by many cruisers, Kawasaki gave the Vulcan S a compact parallel-twin engine designed to provide smooth, responsive power and strong low- and mid-range performance.

A key feature of the Vulcan S was its rider-focused ergonomics. Kawasaki offered different seat, handlebar and footpeg configurations to accommodate riders of different sizes, an approach that developed into the ERGO-FIT system associated with the model. Its low seat, long wheelbase and relaxed riding position were combined with chassis and engine characteristics influenced by Kawasaki's sportbike experience.
