Kawasaki Z750

From 2004 until 2012, Kawasaki produced the Z750, a 750 cc (46 cu in) inline-four engine standard motorcycle. It’s a scaled-down version of the Kawasaki Z1000.

The Kawasaki Z750 was introduced in 2004 as an economy model, after the release of its larger brother, the Z1000, in 2003. It has a 750 cc sleeved down version of the Z1000 engine, a less expensive front suspension, and a standard exhaust. Like the Z1000, which is a modern take on the Kawasaki Z900/Z1, the Z750 is a modern take on the Kawasaki Z750RS Z2. Kawasaki released a redesigned version of both the Z750 and the Z1000 in 2007, with several cosmetic and technical upgrades. Kawasaki introduced the Z750R in 2011, alongside the normal Z750, with enhanced suspension and braking components and somewhat altered design.

Kawasaki released a revised version of the Z750 with a bikini fairing in 2007. The engine has reduced vibration and has been modified to provide better low-end torque. An upside down fork serves as the front suspension. The front and rear disk brakes are petal-shaped.

Kawasaki introduced the Z750R with the normal Z750 in 2011. This model is similar to the Z750 from 2007 to 2012, however it has an updated front suspension, a rear suspension piggyback nitrogen tank, radial front brake calipers with metal-braided brake lines, an aluminum swingarm, and black electronics. For a more sporty appearance, the headlamp cluster, front mudguard, and front and rear indicators have all been changed.

Kawasaki debuts the Z800, which succeeds the Z750, in 2012. The Z800, which has a larger bore size and new body style, was released to compete with the Yamaha FZ8.
