About the Husqvarna FC350
Husqvarna entered a new modern era in 2013 when the KTM Group acquired Husqvarna Motorcycles and reunited the marque with Husaberg, the company founded by former Husqvarna engineers after the brand’s move to Italy in the late 1980s. Development and production shifted to Mattighofen, Austria, and the first new-generation motocross range arrived for 2014. Husqvarna’s official brand history identifies 2013 as the point when the two branches of the original Swedish off-road tradition came back together. See Husqvarna Motorcycles brand history.
The 2014 FC350 filled the middle ground between the 250 and 450 four-stroke motocross classes. Its 349.7 cm³ liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine used an 88 × 57.5 mm bore and stroke, 13.65:1 compression, dual overhead camshafts and four valves operated through cam levers. Electronic fuel injection, electric starting, a hydraulically operated wet multi-disc clutch and a five-speed gearbox gave the bike a modern competition specification. The basic 350 concept was to combine the agility and easier handling associated with a 250-class machine with stronger torque and power closer to a 450, a positioning Husqvarna continues to use for the FC 350 today.
The chassis was equally competition-focused. A central-tube chromium-molybdenum steel frame was paired with a WP 4860 MXMA CC upside-down fork providing 300 mm of travel and a WP 5018 linkage rear shock with 317 mm of rear-wheel travel. The motorcycle used 21-inch front and 19-inch rear motocross wheels, 260 mm and 220 mm brake discs, a 1,495 mm wheelbase and a 992 mm unloaded seat height. At approximately 106.4 kg without fuel, the package was designed as a 350 cc four-stroke motocross motorcycle offering a balance of low mass, tractable power and full-size racing chassis performance.
For 2015, Husqvarna retained the FC 350 in its motocross range but introduced further development across the MY15 four-stroke line. Husqvarna’s official 2015 motocross presentation described significant updates intended to further develop the range’s technical characteristics while continuing to offer FC 250, FC 350 and FC 450 four-stroke choices. This established the 350 as a continuing model rather than a one-season experiment, and the FC 350 has remained a core part of Husqvarna’s motocross family through multiple later chassis and engine generations.
The uploaded factory publication is specifically the 2014 FC 350 EU repair edition, article 3403006en. It contains 242 pages and 2014 technical specifications; its wiring sheets are shared with 2015, but Husqvarna issued a separate full repair publication for the 2015 model year. Related documentation is grouped in the Husqvarna FC350 service manual catalog.
