Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R / ZX-10R ABS / ZX-10RR Mk6 Service Manual (2021-2023)

Kawasaki introduced a substantially revised Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-10RR for the 2021 model year. Kawasaki described the ZX-10R as the flagship of the Ninja ZX series and linked the development of the 2021 motorcycle directly to its World Superbike racing program.

The 2021 redesign retained the 998 cm³ liquid-cooled inline-four DOHC engine but introduced further race-derived development. Kawasaki specifically highlighted a new air-cooled oil cooler, while the limited-production ZX-10RR received lightweight pistons designed by Pankl in addition to its titanium connecting rods.

Aerodynamics and chassis development were also major parts of the update. Kawasaki introduced a new upper cowl with integrated aerodynamic winglets, compact headlights, revised chassis geometry and suspension settings intended to improve cornering performance and handling.

The 2021 generation also expanded the road-going electronics and rider interface. Kawasaki added electronic cruise control, a TFT color display and smartphone connectivity, while the service manual covers electronic systems including Kawasaki traction-control, launch-control, quick-shift, engine-brake-control and intelligent ABS functions where fitted.

The ZX-10RR is included in this manual through the ZX1002N series. Kawasaki's Owner Center identifies the 2021 ZX1002N as the Ninja ZX-10RR ABS, and Kawasaki's 2023 parts catalogue likewise identifies ZX1002NP as the ZX-10RR.

This makes the manual particularly useful as a single workshop reference for the 2021, 2022 and 2023 sixth-generation ZX-10R platform, while still distinguishing the ZX-10RR-specific specifications where Kawasaki does so in the factory data.
