About the Indian Scout

The modern Indian Scout returned for the 2015 model year as a middleweight cruiser built around a liquid-cooled 60-degree V-twin engine and a lightweight aluminum frame. The Scout family expanded over the following years as Indian developed different versions around the same basic platform.

The smaller 999 cc Scout Sixty joined the range for 2016, followed by the Scout Bobber for 2018. For 2020, the family expanded again with the Scout Bobber Twenty and Scout Bobber Sixty. Indian added the Scout Rogue and Scout Rogue Sixty for the 2022 model year, giving the platform a wider range of riding positions, styling and engine configurations. Indian's own model and accessory archives confirm these model-year ranges through 2024.

This service manual covers the Scout platform from 2018 through 2024 and includes specifications and service information for the Scout, Scout Bobber, Scout Sixty, Scout Bobber Sixty, Scout Bobber Twenty, Scout Rogue and Scout Rogue Sixty.

The 2024 model year is a natural cutoff for this manual generation. Indian introduced its next-generation Scout platform for 2025 with the new SpeedPlus engine family, including a 1,250 cc engine and redesigned drivetrain and electronics.
