About the Indian Scout

Indian Motorcycle introduced an all-new Scout platform for the 2025 model year, replacing the previous generation that had formed the basis of the Scout family since the modern model returned in 2015.

At the center of the redesign was the new SpeedPlus engine family. The 1,250 cc liquid-cooled V-twin uses dual overhead camshafts and four valves per cylinder, producing 105 horsepower in the Scout Bobber, Scout Classic, Sport Scout and Super Scout and 111 horsepower in the performance-focused 101 Scout. Indian also redesigned the chassis and expanded the availability of electronic rider aids and connected technology across the Scout range.

The 2025 range also includes a 999 cc version of the SpeedPlus engine for the Scout Sixty family. Paired with a five-speed transmission, the SpeedPlus 999 is used in the Scout Sixty Bobber, Scout Sixty Classic and Sport Scout Sixty.

The service manual offered here is publication 9941686 R03. It covers the 2025 Scout platform and includes the later R03 update adding service information for the Scout Sixty models.
