About the Indian Scout Sixty

Indian Motorcycle introduced the modern Scout for the 2015 model year, marking the first all-new Indian Scout in more than 70 years. The redesigned motorcycle used a 1,133 cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine mounted in an aluminum frame, bringing the historic Scout name into a modern middleweight cruiser platform.

The Scout family expanded for 2016 with the Scout Sixty. It retained the basic Scout chassis and liquid-cooled V-twin layout but used a smaller 999 cc engine and five-speed transmission, providing a more accessible entry point into the Scout range. Indian's official model archive lists the Scout Sixty as part of its 2016 lineup alongside the 1,133 cc Scout.

This service manual covers the 2015 through 2017 Scout and the 2016 through 2017 Scout Sixty, including applicable ABS-equipped versions. The Scout Bobber is not included because it joined Indian Motorcycle's lineup for the 2018 model year.
