Moto Guzzi Sport 2V 1200 ABS

From 2006 until 2013, Moto Guzzi manufactured the 1200 Sport motorbike.

The bike debuted in October 2006, is based on the Breva, and is outfitted with the new 1151 cm3 engine that debuted with the Norge 1200 in May of the same year. The 2-valve engine was eventually replaced with a 4-valve engine in 2009.

It is a full-fledged Sport Tourer, with attachments like side bags, a top case, and a tank bag. Two upgrade kits were supplied for individuals who were more interested in the track (Step 1 and Step 2). Step 1 is to build an exhaust system that includes a 2-in-1-into-2 titanium Lafranconi, a specialized control unit, intake trumpets, and a carbon canister for collecting oil vapors. The intake and exhaust ducts, as well as the high compression heads, were polished in step two.

The 1200 Sport varies from the Breva in the colors of the windshield (black-white or red-white for the 2v, gray and white or black and white for the 4v, and red-white gold for the 4v Sport Corsa). two-tone, with a white backdrop for the instruments and a detachable single-seat seat cover in the same color.

The exhaust system is likewise distinct, with the 2v’s silencer made of faux carbon and the 4v’s silencer made of stainless steel with a triangle form; also, the 2-valve model without ABS came standard with braking’s SK Wave (or Daisy) front discs. Metzeler was installed in the 2V model.

Both the front and rear suspensions It has a typical Marzocchi at the front with Al-Tin surface coating on the stems. The declared speed is more than 220 km/h. The dry weight is around 230 kg.

The 2v engine produces around 95 HP (70 kW) at 7800 rpm and 100 Nm at 6000 rpm, while the 4v engine produces over 105 HP at 7000 rpm and 105 Nm at 6750 rpm.
