Moto Guzzi Breva V850

Breva is named for the Breva wind, which sweeps over Lake Como, where the Moto Guzzi plant is located. The bikes were available in four different sizes: 750, 850, 1100, and 1200. The three bigger versions vary from the 750 in that they have CARC suspension and improved performance.

  • Breva 750 or Breva V 750 (744 cc) (2002-2009): The Breva was Moto Guzzi’s first motorbike designed and launched after the business was acquired by Aprilia. The Breva 750 was publicly revealed to the press as a standard motorbike at Intermot 2002 in Munich. The Breva 750, like the Nevada, has a 750 cc V-twin engine drawn straight from the engine Carcano created for Guzzi in the mid-1960s that Tonti refined: a 48 horsepower (36 kW) V-twin. The engine design is still ideal for everyday, real-world settings due to its simplicity of maintenance, longevity, and even, flat torque curve. The first Breva 750 was handed to its owner on April 7, 2003, in a special event at the Mandello works to commemorate Moto Guzzi’s revitalization. Similarly, on the occasion of the company’s anniversary, the first 100 Breva 750s were given to their Italian dealers in a special ceremony on March 26, 2003 at Mandello del Lario headquarters.
  • Breva 850 (877 cc) (since 2006): a variant with the 850 engine that is not available in the United States.
  • Breva 1100/1100 ABS (1,064 cc) (since 2005): released in Europe in 2005 and in the United States in 2006. Breva 1100 ABS is not available in the United States.
