Suzuki Boulevard C109R VLR1800
Suzuki Boulevard C109R was debuted in 2008 as the company’s V-Twin Cruiser. The Suzuki Intruder C1800R is the same model marketed in Europe.
The engine is a 1,783 cc (108.8 cu in) four-valve DOHC, 54-degree, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected V-twin with four valves per cylinder. To enhance heat transmission, increase piston-to-cylinder clearances, and save weight, each bore is lined with Suzuki’s SCEM (Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material). The engine is equipped with an electronic fuel injection system, 52 mm throttle bodies, and twin spark plugs. The gearbox has five gears.
