Kawasaki KZ1000 / KZ1100 Service Manual (1981-1983)

Kawasaki's KZ1000 and KZ1100 models formed part of the company's large-capacity air-cooled four-cylinder range during the early 1980s. The motorcycles covered by this manual shared a four-stroke DOHC inline-four layout, while Kawasaki offered several versions aimed at different types of riding.

The KZ1000 range included the J-series standard model, K-series LTD and M-series CSR, together with the performance-focused KZ1000-R Eddie Lawson Replica introduced for 1982. Kawasaki's current historical parts catalog still identifies the 1982 KZ1000-R1 and 1983 KZ1000-R2 as Eddie Lawson Replica models.
