I used to always give my bike to service until one day the mechanic put the wrong oil by accident. Since then I very much prefer to service my bike myself, so I started looking for a repair manual. I wasn’t convinced about a PDF version at first, but given it was significantly cheaper than a printed version, I gave it a go. Best decision in my life! I just print the pages I need when I service my bike, without worrying about getting them greasy. I would definitely recommend it.
